Q4’16 : Huawei : Slow Growth Ahead in 2017

In Q4 2016, Huawei delivered impressive results with 38% YoY global handset shipment volume growth. However, it is facing competitive challenges. During the quarter it yielded its leading position in China to OPPO and vivo. Looking forward, we expect Huawei’s shipment growth to slow, due partly to an increasingly competitive global environment and to growing pressure on profitability.
