Global flat panel TV sales grew 6% annually in 2011. While the growth mainly came from emerging markets, consumers in the developed markets have also been upgrading their old televisions with state-of-the-art smart and 3D TVs. To assess consumers' current TV brand ownership and their brand preferences for their next TV purchase, Strategy Analytics conducted conducted an online survey in the US, UK, France, Germany and Italy in March 2012. This report presents the findings from the Q1 2012 as well as the Q3 2011 ConsumerMetrix survey.
